In this instance you would want to get a style that is layered fuller at the top and then have the volume reduced under your cheekbones. Medium to long hair words best here but you can also straighten your hair to achieve the same effect. Straightening your hair, as well as choosing a sharper style of hair will also further build the appearance of a bit more of a sharper look to your face.

Square
In this type of shape, you need to try to give the illusion of a slightly more elongated face. To achieve this look you need to add more volume on top of your head and around your forehead. Layers are an easy fix to this problem. Be careful that your layered hair style is drawl a little off center or your face will still appear to be square-shaped. Light and loose bangs are another way to soften the edges of your face and to give the illusion of a more rounded visage.
It is very important to remember that the hair for this face shape should be short or medium and should not be straight or flat. Having hair that is wavy or curled will help to soften and pull away from an equally distributed square face. You should stay away from any kind of ‘sharp’ hair style here, and do not let the hair style cut off at your jaw line.

Triangular
For this, you will need a hairstyle that is fuller toward the top and that thins as it falls further down your face. Layers are the most common way to achieve this effect but they can also be customized in an interesting way, or you could try a hair style known as the ‘Shag’.
Long hair is not recommended for this type of face shape because they draw attention to the bottom of your face. If you’re not particularly ready to cut your hair into a shorter style, then there is a solution for you. Since this style is all about bringing a fuller volume to the upper part of your face, any beautiful up-do type of style will work just as well here.
