Sometimes we want to have original clothes for a party, or we just see a beautiful dress, that is just too expensive to buy. In such a case you can try to make a party dress by yourself. For this you will need the following materials and basic abilities : “A sewing machine, Knowledge of sewing, Fabric Marker (Called Tailor Chalk), Thread, Pins, Fabric (a little bit extra in case of a mistake), Seam ripper, Fabric Scissors, Sewing needle, Tape Measure.

For the beginning buy or find somewhere a sewing machine, if you do not have practice of sewing, we recommend you to take some lessons and to practice first, for example on some old Clothes, to obtain satisfactory skills.

The second step is to understand what you want, the general design, color, details and motives. When you imagined yourself well the dress, try to make an accurate sketch. If you can not do it, try to use Google, a sewing journal or a book.

Purchase fabric of the required color or pattern, buy fabric with reserve, in case of errors. Start to work with the fabric using the fabric marker, or in the worst case a piece of solid soap can do the job. Cut and sew according to the sketch. With hard work and a little bit of practice you can have soon your own unique party dress just like you wanted it.
